Folders, passwords, and share links that expire

A share link is a promise you should be able to revoke. Everything in this section is there to make sure that promise stays honest.

Folder passwords

• One password per folder, checked before any listing is served.
• Works for anonymous folders — no account needed to protect one.
• Rotate it without re-uploading a single file.

Expiry and limits

• Hard expiry timestamps on links and embeds.
• Download counters for one-time or capped distribution.
• Immediate revocation from the file menu.

Set defaults under storage settings, then override per folder.
